Genshin Impact Version 4.3 Rundown
Version 4.3 is set to be released on the 20th of December 2023 for all the servers. A preinstallation package will be released 2 days prior for the players to ease into the update. On the day of the update, the game will undergo a 5-hour maintenance period, and right after that players can experience the patch unfold. There are a lot of things to undergo, so let’s take it one step at a time.
New Characters
Version 4.3 will have two new characters join the playable character roster, Navia and Chevreuse. Let’s dive into their kits:
- Navia: She is the boss of Spina Di Rosula and a brand new 5-star Geo Claymore Character. Her kit centers around her Elemental Skill which will make you feel like an old gangster banging on their enemies with their Shotgun. Her Elemental Burst will complement and buff her Skill. She is a mono-geo DPS with a little twist as she utilizes the crystallized reaction.
- Chevreuse:She is the captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol in Fontaine and a brand new 4-star Pyro Polearm Character. Her kit centers around her Elemental Skill, making you feel like a sniper on a rooftop. Her Elemental Burst will complement her skill with some extra damage. Her kit makes her an excellent addition to Overcharged teams.
New Weapons
Version 4.3 will have two new weapons added to the weapon roster. Let’s dive into them:
- Verdict:It is a brand new 5-star Claymore and Navia’s signature weapon. It has crit damage for substats and will be an amazing stat-stick for any Claymore DPS unit.
- Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic:It is a brand new 4-star Claymore, which will be obtainable by playing through events. It has energy recharge for substats and will be a good option for both DPS and Support units.
New Rate-up Banners
Version 4.3 will have two double banners in its duration. The first character banner will include the brand new 5-star Geo Navia and 5-star Cryo Ayaka. Alongside them will run Verdict and Mistsplitter Reforged in the weapon banner. The second character banner will include the 5-star Electro Raiden Shogun and 5-star Pyro Yoimiya. 4-star Pyro Chevreuse will be on the second character banner. Alongside them will run Engulfing Lighting and Thundering Pulse in the weapon banner.
New Events and Quests
Version 4.3 will have a ton of events. Let’s dive into it:
- Rosa Multiflora Chapter: Act I:Navia will be receiving her story quest in this patch that players would be able to play through if they have cleared the Fontaine’s Archon Quest.
- Roses and Muskets:This will be the main event of the patch and travelers will be able to meet some old friends as they compete to win a movie competition.
- Arataki Blazing Armor Beetle Battle Boot Camp:Travelers will be meeting the one and oni Itto again with his featured event. This time, the beetles have upgraded themselves as they can now use energy blasts and defend themselves.
- Lost Riches:One of the most favorite events of Travelers has made its comeback. This event will allow us to receive a pet that could go underwater.
- Dance of Resolute Will:This event will be a battle focused event as travelers utilize the buffs gained from fighting in a black and white movie setting.
- Marvelous Merchandise:Our favorite NPC, Liben, is back with his amazing deals and freemogems!!
New System Additions
A huge drop of optimizations and additions has been included in this patch by HoYoverse. Let’s dive into it:
- Two new artifact sets are being added to the game –Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing WoodsandSong of Days Past.
- Genius Invocation TCG will be receiving 6 new character cards and 5 new monster cards which include Lyney, Lynette, Rosaria Boss, etc.
- A new way to sort and filter through Artifacts is being added. Travelers can now sort artifacts according to main stats, substats, locked, unlocked, upgraded, non-upgraded, etc.
- Enhancement Screen Pop-ups have been reduced. Now players won’t have to keep clicking Okay every level.
- Domain Runs have been optimized. Now you will spawn next to the Key Symbol every time you run a domain.
- One click optimizations have also been added. You can now claim your expedition rewards and dispatch characters with one click.
- You can batch-add artifacts in the upgrade screen.
- A new Serenitea Realm Layout will be available. It is the Fontaine themed layout.
